Innovationsforum ASTER – Welcome

ASTER – Akut-Schlaganfall-Versorgung – Telemedizin im Rettungswagen – is a project with the objective of developing and discussing solutions and scenarios for the optimization of stroke care within the rescue chain.

The project is being carried out by the Innomed e.V. in cooperation with the Chair of Medical Telematics of the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg. The project is supported by the BMBF in the scope of the initiative «Unternehmen Region».

First highlight of the project is a forum which takes place from 14. till 15. February 2008 in Magdeburg. On this forum you can attend interesting speeches and find much room for discussions about topics all around stroke, emergency- and acute care, rescue car, process optimization, tele medicine as well as practical hard- and software solutions. Also a live demonstration of telemedicine is planned.
